One of the top wedding trends of today are bespoke engagement rings. These engagement rings, personally designed by the groom, are very well received by the bride. She knows her groom took the time to think of her preferences and designed a ring to suit her tastes. For brides there is nothing as special as have personally designed bespoke engagement rings to show off to friends and family.
Designing the Ring
Bespoke engagement rings can be individualized by choosing a stone shape that is meaningful to the bride. One of the more romantic shapes is the heart. While it is not as common as many of the other stone shapes it can be made in just about any type of stone from diamond to emerald. One of the most popular is the square princess cut, as it seems to create the most sparkle in the stone. A more modern bride might prefer a Trilliant (triangle) or Marquise Cut as these stone cuts are rare and quite unusual. The Briolette is quite fancy while the oval cut is more sporty and practical. Choose the cut to suit your lady.
One Stone or Twenty?
Traditional engagement rings usually are made with a single stone. Today’s bespoke engagement rings have moved beyond the tradition to the modern and unusual. A three stone ring has become quite popular nowadays as have two or 3 rows of smaller gems. Another popular design is the larger stone surrounded by smaller stones of a different color. Once again the groom must consider his bride’s personality and choose a stone design that will best suit her.
Bespoke engagement rings are all the rage in today’s society. A groom, who plans on designing his fiancée’s ring, faces a world of gem designs and alternatives. He needs to pay attention to his intended’s style and personality and design the engagement ring with her in mind.
